Product Description
CHINASTAR GLASS produces high-quality float glass for automotive applications, using special quartz sand, pure alkali, and dolomite as raw materials. Through the use of modern production management and state-of-the-art float glass production techniques, CHINASTAR GLASS is able to create glass that is clear, colorless, and exceptionally smooth. The glass has a uniform thickness and minimal optical distortion, providing excellent performance for automotive glass processing. The entire production line at CHINASTAR GLASS is fully automated, resulting in glass with consistent upper and lower surfaces and no waves or uneven thickness. This makes it ideal for processing a variety of automotive glass types, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows. With its superior quality and reliable performance, our clear automotive glass meets all basic requirements for further processing.
CHINASTAR GLASS offers French green automotive glass crafted
from top-notch materials, including special quartz sand, pure alkali,
and dolomite, which are then blended in specific proportions.
Inorganic metal oxide colorants are added to give the glass a stunning
crystal-clear green hue. This transformation turns the previously
colorless clear float glass into a beautifully colored clear glass with an
even surface, uniform thicknes, and minimal optical distortion. This
versatile glass is commonly used for automobile windshields and side
windows, as well as energy-saving glass products for building doors
and windows.
CHINASTAR uses high-quality special quartz sand, pure alkali, and
dolomite to create black automotive glass. The materials are mixed in
specific proportions and elaborately processed to make float glass
with shiny surface, low-light transmittance. The glass has a smooth
and flat surface, uniform thickness, and minimal optical distortion,
making it exceptional for automobile sunroofs, side windows, and
energy-saving glass products for building curtain walls.

Black automotive glass, which has been specially developed for car sunroofs and commercial vehicle windows, does an excellent job at keeping the heat out, with only around 10% of visible light and solar energy passing through the glass and a shading coefficient of about 0.4. This means that they can stop more than 50% of solar heat from entering the car, making them great for saving energy and being eco-friendly.
2. Black automotive glass has UV transmittance less than 2%, which helps prevent UV rays from damaging any organic materials inside the car, such as the interior decorations.
3. Black automotive glass provides good privacy protection, as they look black from the outside, meaning it's hard to see anything inside the car. However, you can stillsee clearly from the inside out without any obstruction to the view.
