Types of Insulated Glass (IGU) include:
Clear Insulated Glass: Comprising two panes of flat, non-tempered, or tempered float glass.
Triple or Multi-pane Insulated Glass: Featuring more than two panes of glass, typically three, but theoretically can be four or five layers.
Curved Insulated Glass: Made with two panes of glass that are heat-bent or cold-bent using the float glass process.
Coated Insulated Glass: Incorporating one pane of glass with a coating within the IGU.
Low-E Insulated Glass: Including one pane of low-emissivity (Low-E) glass, which can be further categorized based on the number of silver layers used in the coating process:
